a bit o’ this & that

I’ve really been neglecting the hell out of the bloog lately. I’ve been neglecting pretty much everything lately, though, so don’t feel bad gentle reader–you’re not alone.

So, I’ve been doing some of that thinking thing (and really, when am I not?), and I’ve had a few ideas for things.

Am thinking about re-watching and re-recapping Dollhouse S1 before S2 starts. Is there interest in that, or will this be further exercise in me shouting into the ether?

Am thinking about writing about therapy. It’s really interesting to me, and I thought it might help me process the things I’m being told if I write about them. It’s a fascinating process, and though I was wary at first, I find myself rather enjoying it. Also, catharsis is the bomb diggety, yo.

I’ll mention, even though it’s from earlier this week, that I wrote a piece over on Pajiba about the Depeche Mode concert I attended last week. It did pretty well. I’m rather proud of it, and I had a ton of fun writing it. Aaaaand, I’m going to be writing about music over there now. I’m really happy about it. I’m staff! w00t!

Need to work on getting back into the fiction as well. I’m thinking I should just start writing short stories to start, and worry about the novel that’s started percolating in the back of my head again when it starts getting too big to stay on the back burner. How’s that for some mixing of metaphors?

Also, I need to get out of the house more often. Anyone want to help me with that?
