Om nom nom


When it starts getting cooler, I start cooking again. Hooray for fall. I want lots of savory dishes, and stews, and soups. Lots of veggies and chicken and turkey and… anyway. Everything. Between myself and my mother, we’ve had a new gratin with spinach and ham (excellent!) and a london broil in the last couple of days. I also made pumpkin muffins yesterday. The recipe and whatnot is on Godtopus Eats this morning; you should go check it out. Here’s the pics that I didn’t add to that post:

In other news, I really need to update my blogroll and the link to the archive over there. The archive has all been imported here and Vox no longer exists. *sad face*

But I’d rather do more cooking. I’m going to try to make a couple more recipes I’ve found this week: Chicken Normandy from Simply Recipes, some sour cream and cheddar biscuits I found somewhere, and a Potato Mozzarella Pie. I’m also going to look for a job and work a few hours at the half-a-job I’ve got right now.

Oh, and hopefully pumpkin bars on Halloween next weekend. And more cookies. We’ve run out and I can’t forget how disappointing the last batch was–a lot of them ended up slightly burnt, and it’s been years since I’ve done that to cookies. I think it was one of the sets of cookie sheets I was using.
